Research
Notre Dame Population Analytics (ND Pop) research is conducted by over two dozen faculty affiliates working across multiple disciplines to answer pressing demographic questions. The Departments of Economics, Sociology, Pyschology, and Anthropology are all represented within ND Pop. The research ND Pop supports spans a broad range of topics, including the opioid crisis, gender disparities, fertility, educational policy, crime and incarceration, mental health, neighborhood effects, and more. Faculty affiliates have published in top journals in economics, sociology, political science, medicine, criminology, and education.
