Daniela Kaiser

Biography
Dr. Daniela E. Kaiser holds a PhD in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine. Her research focuses on how institutional interventions and social policies shape child and family wellbeing. Dr. Kaiser’s work exploring the determinants and repercussions of criminal justice involvement, child maltreatment, and child welfare system involvement has been published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, Journal of Family Issues, Science Advances, Criminology, Punishment & Society, and Child Abuse & Neglect.
Daniela is an extensive user of the FFCWS data and has an excellent methodological toolset to bring to supporting use of the data. Moreover, her research aims to inform public policy that better supports families and promotes children’s development.
